Based on numbers alone, I hope to have at least one other item accepted. If more than one place wants the same poem, of course I'll go with whomever informs me first, regardless of the relative prestige of one or the other publication. But wouldn't that still be a good problem to have? It would also give me some feedback about which among my poems has strength in the current market. In theory.
And perhaps informing other publishers that a submission has been accepted elsewhere (withdrawing it) will provoke personalized responses. Another good problem to have.
And I can't help but acknowledge again that this blog has degraded into more personal reflection than objective reporting or impersonal observations. So apologies for those readers who hoped to find something else here, and appreciation for those of you still coming around anyway.
