Three hundred submissions (poems or copies of poems) sent out in the last 365 days. By the end of the month, that number should be closer to 350. But while I know quantity is a factor in being published, quality is much more important to me, as is sending poems to journals where I think there will be a good match. I'm sure some editors might disagree, and that I've missed the mark by a mile in a few cases. But I'm noting here, for the record, that I think about these things before I send a group of poems out!
