Radio Silence No More

It has been just over a year since this blog was updated. And here we are, in National Poetry Month again. Time to break my (non) vow of (radio) silence.

I'm delighted to announce that my review of Kathleen Winter's I will not kick my friends is now up and on Colorado Review's website. Her book is complex and lovely, and I'm honored to have my review accepted there - a journal representing the state of my birth!

My review of Gregory Mahrer's A Provisional Map of the Lost Continent was out in Prairie Schooner last Fall. Another beautiful book. In both cases, I feel that I didn't do the collections justice. But it was an excellent practice in paying attention, studying a text, and articulating what I found.

I look forward to writing and placing more reviews, and to finding homes for more poems. And I look forward to updating this little blog more frequently! There is much to share in the world of poetry from this little corner of the big round world.
