Richard Blanco's poetry is a treat for the senses (so much color and food and music - and the language!), and there's a kind of Cuban hiraeth at work in this collection, as well. I want to read his newer book, How to Love a Country, but it will have to wait. As it is, it's been a push to finish this challenge honestly, without skipping a page or two in two or three of the longer books. Thus the 11:25pm post!
