This one is by Sandra Anfang, a librarian and founder of the long-running renowned Rivertown Poetry series where I've featured twice (in person and via zoom). I always hear Sande's smiling voice when I read her poems; it's as though she sews a golden thread of joy into even her most somber, vulnerable work. This book gave glimpses into a complex personal and familial history. It was short but resonant.
