Sealey Stack and Upcoming Reading

We're well into September, but I realize that I never posted the final stack of books I read in August for the Sealey Challenge. Here it is:



I owe a debt of gratitude for the Petaluma Branch of the Sonoma County Library, as they provided a good chunk of the selections this year. 

I am also grateful to the judges of a recent local poetry competition for selecting my entry as the third place winner. The reading, in honor of the virtual exhibit “Black & White in Black & White: Images of Dignity, Hope and Diversity in America“ is coming up on October 1st, and here's where you can find more information. I'm really looking forward to hearing the other poems. It was such an evocative ekphrastic prompt.
