The Sealey Challenge, Day 13: Felon by Reginald Dwayne Betts

I read Bastards of the Reagan Era by Betts as part of the 2020 challenge, so this is a repeat author but not a repeat book. I lucked out with this one, especially because I keep finding myself in time crunches. I was able to listen to the author narrating the audiobook and refer to the physical book as well.  

I was fascinated to find how effective the redaction poems were when I listened to them. I would have thought the power was in the visual impact of those blacked-out sections and what was left on the page
