Helen Or My Hunger by Gale Marie Thompson is another YesYesBooks title. I saw Thompson read at a YesYes reading at AWP in Seattle earlier this year & was enthralled. 

This book's unique syntax meant I had to take it slowly and carefully to catch the meaning and nuance - or at least, some of the nuance. I think I missed a lot.

 "I am asking this of you. To see things out of order."

and

"I come to my gender / like an epithet."
