Like Forrest Gander, Donna Emerson is a fellow Petaluman. I've seen her read several times, and I believe I also read another one of her chapbooks last year for the Sealey Challenge. I enjoy Donna's reflections on momentous events in her life. I especially liked her poem about Jenny the horse, and about deciding to have a baby at 50.
