The Sealey Challenge, Day Twenty-four: Eruv by Eryn Green

This is an interesting collection because Green's style is quite unusual and elliptical.  The book is the 2013 winner of the Yale Younger Poets prize, and in the introduction to the book, Carl Phillip called it, "Notational, highly fragmented, wildly associative, as at easy apparently with non sequitur as with the occasional sly literary allusion."

Eruv invites the reader to either fill in the blanks or sit with them, letting the silence and what is not said say whatever it has to say. I wish I'd had more than a day to read through and let these poems, fragmented as the often are, just seep.
